2020 has been a year of challenges and surprises — most notably COVID-19. There has been more to navigate than we could have possibly imagined. But with Thanksgiving approaching, all of us at Waystar are taking time to reflect on the positive things that came out of this difficult year, and all that we have to be grateful for.
- Our team. We continue to find inspiration in one another. Although separated by distance, we have found new ways of connecting, communicating and supporting one another. We’ve seen our peers rise to the challenge of advancing Waystar on behalf of our clients while balancing work and family at home. We find strength and encouragement in the people we work with, day in and day out.
- Our clients, many of whom are on the front lines working to keep us all safe and healthy, and the countless others whose hard work and dedication are the heart and soul of healthcare. We admire you and are proud to do our part to support you.
- Hope for the coming year. We could not have predicted the challenges we faced this past year, and certainly, 2021 will have its own share of obstacles. But as much as we struggled, we’ve also seen what grit and grace our communities are made of. We have hope that next year we will continue to grow as a company and as a community. We are prepared to meet the challenges that certainly await us — together.
We’d like to acknowledge the pain and loss that many have experienced this year. For some of us, Thanksgiving may be marked by separation from loved ones, or even by grief. Our hearts go out to everyone who is finding this holiday season difficult.
We can’t know what the coming months will bring, but we approach them with humility and gratitude. From all of us here at Waystar, we’d like to wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
